You know that I always love a good sweet, so here is one of my favorite brownie recipes from my mom. No, Dana, sorry not the turtle brownies that weigh 10lbs when shipped to me in college, but those will be for another post!
Bake your favorite brownie mix in an 8x8 pan and let cool. I prefer some kind of fudge brownie myself.
For the next layer, combine the following:
3 cups powdered sugar
1 stick butter
1 tsp vanilla
3 Tbs milk
(you can add more milk or powdered sugar if you want to make it a little thicker or thinner). Put frosting on top of cooled brownies and put in refrigerator to set.
For the chocolate topping:
1 bag semi sweet chocolate chips
1 Tbs vanilla
2 Tbs butter
Melt in the microwave or over a double boiler and put on top of chilled brownies! You don't have to keep them in the refrigerator after this but you can if you prefer them this way. Enjoy!
